Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must comply with the following guidelines.
1. Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise academic English.
- Authors should ensure that their manuscripts follow a standard scientific structure, appropriate to the type of article submitted.
- Research articles should generally be organized in the following order:
Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, References. - The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must clearly summarize the background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions of the study.
- Authors should provide 3–6 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
- Figures and tables must be of high quality, clearly numbered, and provided with appropriate titles and captions.
- All abbreviations should be defined at first mention in the text.
2. Reference and Citation Style
The journal adopts a modified author–year reference style.
2.1 Reference List
- References must be listed at the end of the manuscript under the heading “References.”
- References must be arranged alphabetically by the surname of the first author.
- Each reference must be written in one single continuous line. Line breaks within a single reference are not permitted.
2.2 Author Names in References
- If a reference has six (6) authors or fewer, all authors must be listed.
- If a reference has more than six (6) authors, list only the first six authors followed by et al. (italicized).
2.3 Reference Format
- Journal articles should be cited as:
Authors. (Year). Title of the article. Full Journal Title, Volume(Issue), page range or article number. DOI (if available). - Books and atlases should be cited without DOI or URL.
- Institutional and guideline documents (e.g., CLSI, WHO, CDC) should list the organization as the author and include edition numbers or document codes where applicable.
- DOIs should be provided whenever available and written in full URL format (https://doi.org/…).
- Articles published before the DOI era may be cited without electronic links. Broken or unverified links should not be included.
2.4 In-Text Citations
- The journal uses an author–year citation system.
- One author: (Singhi, 2004)
- Two authors: (Daniel & Katakam, 2023)
- Three or more authors: use et al. from the first citation (Pappas et al., 2016)
- Multiple citations within the same sentence should be separated by semicolons.
3. Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission system.
- A cover letter must accompany each submission and should briefly describe the novelty, significance, and relevance of the work.
- All authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iDs, where available.
4. Ethics and Transparency
- Research involving human or animal subjects must include a clear ethics approval statement in the manuscript.
- Informed consent must be obtained where applicable.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and duplicate submissions are strictly prohibited.
- All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software prior to peer review.
- Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
5. Authorship and Responsibility
- All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the study.
- The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all authors approve the final version of the manuscript.
- Changes to authorship after submission are not permitted without written justification and editorial approval.
6. Submission Checklist
Before submission, authors should ensure that:
- The manuscript follows a standard scientific structure and is clearly written.
- All references and in-text citations comply with the journal’s reference style.
- All figures and tables are cited in the text and properly labeled.
- A cover letter and ethics statement (where applicable) are included.
- Conflicts of interest are clearly disclosed.
- The manuscript has been carefully checked for plagiarism and technical consistency.
7. Editorial Notice
Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors for technical revision before entering the peer-review process.
