About the Journal

The Yemeni Journal of Life Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across all branches of the life sciences. It provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, critical reviews, and short communications addressing regional and global challenges in biology, health, and environmental sciences.

The journal welcomes submissions in a wide range of disciplines, including microbiology, immunology, biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, ecology, botany, zoology, pharmacognosy, toxicology, and related areas of biological and environmental research.

The Yemeni Journal of Life Sciences operates under a non-profit, open-access model, ensuring that all published content is freely available online under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright and grant permission for unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of their work, provided that the original source is properly cited.

The journal employs a double-blind peer review system to maintain quality and integrity in scientific publishing. Manuscripts are evaluated by independent experts for originality, scientific rigor, and contribution to the field.

The Yemeni Journal of Life Sciences is published by the Forum of Yemeni Microbiologists, an independent, non-profit scientific community that brings together researchers in microbiology and life sciences within Yemen and abroad. The Forum is dedicated to fostering collaboration, supporting open science, and enhancing the visibility of Yemeni research internationally.

Founded in 2025, the journal publishes two issues per year (January–June and July–December) under a continuous publishing model, ensuring rapid online availability of accepted articles.
